Re:So I'm on my business trip, and ran into my crush delbwoy: I know it's now six days since the last post on this thread but......................
I have a current dilema that is along the same lines. I run my own company and it's no secret that I've been alone now for a week, and am feeling pretty low.
Anyway, an employee of mine has basically thrown herself at me and I don't know what to do. If she was not an employee I would have taken her in for the night no problem, but as an employee........I just think it wouldn't be wise, but boy is she fit!!
I never strayed in the 13 years we were together, so I am wondering how it would be with someone else, but I believe this one is too close to home. Only last night I was saying to mates in the pub about it, and they all say to get her in the sack and just that, but there was one businessman with us last night, and his take was the same as mine. It's business. Don't mix it. But my confidence has been severly knocked, and I want to see if I can please a sort of stranger.
Any opinions? If I wasn't in it, I'd be saying "Stay away" I seem to have a problem listening to my own advice. If I could, I probably wouldn't be here.

13 years of marriage
attractive employee
loneliness
not a good combination
It's too bad that you can't get her to sign a contract that states, "I'm sleeping with my boss of my own free will. He is in no way forcing me to do so. Should said fling not work out, I will in no way hold my boss or his company personally liable." 8)
Since my separation, I've faced that same temptation on the job. The majority of the employees in my building are women. Out of close to a hundred women, at least 2 or 3 married women would probably sleep with me :o and only ONE that I can think of is single, but her separation is even more recent than mine. She, on the other hand, wouldn't be one of those three. She acts like she doesn't even want to be my friend. ???
After what has happened to me, I would rather pay a financial cost, if you know what I mean, than hurt someone's husband and children. :-[
Re:So I'm on my business trip, and ran into my crush Spectrum: Delbwoy,
Hey, you wanted an ego boost, and you've already gotten it! Here you have this hot employee hitting on you within a week of your separation. Take that complement and run with it.... but just the complement, not the offer.
If you have one woman throwing herself at you that quickly, I think you can be reasonably confident that more will come your way. And if you don't feel like waiting, at least knowing that you're attractive will make it a little easier if you see someone you want to get to know better, right?
