Shared Parenting 2timetee: [color=Maroon"> [/color"> That is such a joke!!! My ex-to-be wants "Shared Parenting" of our 7 year old son. The ex does not take any of his parenting time now. He does not pay child support or contribute to any medical bills and very rarely does he provide food for our child.
In 7 months, the ex has taken our son 3 times to spend 1 (one!) overnight with him. Always, the next day, the ex complains that our son kept him up all night. (For various reasons.) Isn't this part of being a parent and dealing with the issues that arise from having a child?
A Guardian Ad Litem was appointed by the court. She met with me alone; The ex alone; With me and the child; The ex and the child. She came to my house and went to the ex's apartment. In addition, I gave her a 5 page document which spoke of numerous incidents where the ex did not relate to his child the way a father should.
Has anyone else out there every had a Guardian for their child? How did it come out?
Re: Shared Parenting drywallputeruper: he sounds like he is a rotten father,but the fact is he is the father and has rights to his child .i am a father who has been stepped on by my wife,her lawyer and her own father said i would never see my child again .iam the best a father can be.i changed diapers all the time ,got up in the middle of the night with him ,took him out all the time so mom could have alone time .took him everywhere with me.she cheated on me with my friend and took him away from me . is holding him hostage ,till i sign.i wont ever use him as a pawn .it sounds like your husband is trying to use him to make you mad .it is his right to be with him but not to do it for his own vengeful reasons.some people dont understand children see everything and it destroys them.then they grow up and get divorced also.
send him with the childrens bill of rights next time .kids have rights too.they need to be kids now.his father should be thankful he wasnt married to my wife.
