Re: Car loan in her name Red_Fusion: I'm in Texas. The lien holder on the hot rod in my name said even with divorce, I could not remove my name from that legal document, and that the s2bx would have to refinance it (impossible) to get my name off the loan.

Yeah I found that out. Wonderful of banks to do that, huh? :(
I found out that if I trade my car in or buy another, all I have to do, though, is get them a copy of the divorce decree and they can deal with the banks. So, that is going to be my plan.
