Sisyphean means an impossible task. That is what this feels like, to me, sometimes. But I suppose it is only impossible if we make it so. I'm still trying to sort out which god I defied? Hera, maybe? :)

Don't think she doesn't have feelings for you. If she's coming off hot and cold, then it's probably her way of dealing with her situation. I haven't been following your situation, but for me my ex displayed moments of kindness and other times she was this whole other person I didn't recognize.
The times she was pleasant and sweet, reminded me of the old Amy, but I caught on. She was nice when she needed something from me.... go figure! Even until the end, she was like that. hmmmmmm... I'm better off.
Take care of yourself, and let her blow her hot air someplace else. If she truly wants you back, then she'd make it known.
