Re:To the next woman in my life lemondrop: CP,
That is an incredible letter. I'd never even thought about putting things on the line like that. But it makes a lot of sense. I think I'm going to spend some time working on a letter like that of my own. Just to keep things in perspective. And to keep myself aware of what it is I want next.
Very motivational - thanks! : )

Re:To the next woman in my life computerperson: Thanks LD...never thought of myself as being capable of doing something motivational, especially in my current state of mind, but I am glad y'all liked it. Makes me feel good for putting it out there.
Now, if I can just shake this mood...
Re:To the next woman in my life favoriteangel2003: CP,
Personally, I would feel relieved if a guy I was starting to get serious with either handed me that letter or brought it out and we both went over it. I always say better to get it out on the table before you get set in your ways. Do it as soon as it starts to get serious...you will know when! ;) Good Luck!

Re:To the next woman in my life lifechange: CP & FA:
That gave me a great idea. We should all have lists like the one you made. We should forward it to potential dates......wouldn't that make dating sooooo much easier. If you get someones list and you realize you are not compatible, you move on to the next person! We could hand them out like business cards! LOL - but its a nice thought.
CP: I think what you are doing is great. Somewhere embedded in your post is something that is a huge part of the "moving forward" process. Its called self-discovery. You are learning about yourself now; your wants and needs. That is so important for you now. You are doing the right thing in taking this time for yourself. You are going to be that much stronger for it. You will definitely have so much to offer some lucky lady one day. Good for you!
:D
