I can totally sympathize with the best friend of an opposite sex thing, most of my really good friends, that I spend a lot of time talking to are guys. A few of them have never been anything but, a few have been exes that I still am really good friends with. In fact, I count my ExH as one of my best friends in the world, which is nice, however it comes off as weird to some people, but I am up front about it, that I have friends that are guys, that my ex and I are friends, and if people can't deal with that, well, too bad for them.
My thing is usually, if I wanted to be with them, I would be, however, I am not, therefore its not gonna happen now either!
I really like this, and I might have to sit down and write out a list like this as well....*thinking thinking thinking*
Re:To the next woman in my life computerperson: ISO (and all)--I just wanted to thank everyone for reading my letter and replying in some cases. I'm very surprised it was received as well as it was. I thought some parts I was maybe a little bossy or just weird, but I'm glad everyone understand what I was trying to say, even if it didn't come out the best way (wish my stbx could have gotten that through her thick skull). Anywho, I'm glad everyone is thinking about what they need, I hope we all do a good job of choosing our next girl and boyfriends.
Re:To the next woman in my life in_search_of: here is the thing, there are parts of it that might be bossy or weird, but you know what, we all have those parts of us, parts of us that the other person has to deal with. I mean, there are things in your letter that I would not be willing to deal with, but that just means that you are not the right person for me. However, there is someone out there who will be perfectly willing to do all of those things!
I know that parts of my letter would come out bossy and weird, especially weird, so really, we cannot fault you for what you are or what you are looking for.

I'm teasing. Very good points, I do understand what you're saying. I'm actually glad to hear your response, as weird as it sounds...kind of a reality check. I didn't think anything was too bad there, but I do need to understand what I want, as simple as I might think it is, wouldn't be what everyone wants. I hope that makes sense....
Re:To the next woman in my life in_search_of: Wheewww, I hoped that would come off like that, that just because that is what you want, does not mean that everyone out there is for you. There are some people who would look at my list and say, umm, no thanks crazy lady...WTF are you thinking!
I suppose they say that there is one in a million for us out there, that means I have about 999,975 left to date!
