Well, no -- his mom and my mom don't talk, thankfully. :D And really, there was no outright lying (because, well, I am involved with someone, and I have characterized it as a fling -- oh, and GF did come after the split and had nothing to do with it, I should add) -- just defensiveness, I guess. "See, mom, Tara's doing it too, so I'm not being bad here." Even though the circumstances are way different...GAWD this is juvenile.
