We used to vacation in Maine when I was a child (physically... I still am mentally I guess). We used to go to Blue Hill??
Also we have relatives that had a summer place at Moosehead Lake. That lake is huge and the fishing is great.

Blue Hill. lol. i picked up a hitchhiker on my way to bar harbor a couple of weeks ago and he told me that he met some "hippies" who said blue hill was the coolest hippy town they had ever seen, so obviously I felt the need to check it out. Was not impressed, but wandered down the road a bit and stopped in brooklin to one the greatest life changing experiences i have ever experienced.
if you ever find yourself in the neighborhood please stop by the brooklin inn for a great dinner. I recommend eating in the bar and tell linda i said hi.
