do they all know? jjbswest: I agreed to go with my parents out to eat this afternoon and there were some people there that worked with my husband. One of them (he doesn't like my husband and hasn't been bashful about telling my husband that he is treating me bad) , came up to me and said how are you doing? I said I'm doing fine. He said well, that's good. IT's gonna be a long hard road but you can do better than him. He also said But, you couldn't have handled it any better. I'll tell ya that. (I'm the one that beat up my hubby and mistress when i caught them :-\) Anyway, I see people he worked with and I am always wondering what do they think? Do they think bad about me? But, I see now, that people know what goes on. And they want to be supportive too, they just don't know how. That conversation made me feel good.
Re:do they all know? cloud: Just take the good with the bad. Everyone likes to hear about turmoil and stuff in other people's lives.
Your situation makes for good conversation for other people. No matter how much you are in the right regarding your ex's behavior, there'll be someone out there talking bad about you.
I wouldn't dwell on the good or the bad that others may think of you. Focus on how you feel and how you want to move forward--because you are the only one that really knows.

I felt exactly the same way. Then I realized that as you mentioned, they "know what goes on". In fact, they often know more about it than we'll ever know. Don't be suprised if a few of them do still support your husband, because they could've been told that you did something to cause him to stray. My ex and her aunt work at the same place. Even with that, most of them are still friendly to me. One or two who used to be friends with the both of us now give me dirty looks. That's to be expected I guess.
Re:do they all know? jjbswest: My brother works same place so people ask him stuff sometimes and he tells them like it is. But, I am beginning to hear alot about how he was at work. The man they describe at work is not the man that I know. It's like two totally different people. I don't understand that. It's things that I would never believe. I know he has his "friends" . I don't really think they are friends. I think they are doing the same things and they all just have each others backs. But, I am finding that not too many people there ever did like him because of things he has done or said there. Things that is not what he would say or do at all. But, what do I know? I have found I didn't know him like I thought I did.
