Dating/Sex while Seperated? whyme: My wife left me (seperated) in September and I think she is seeing someone, possibly sleeping with him. Is this legal? Is this adultery? What are the laws? i am in Maryland.

what i mean is: is this REALLY a question of legality, or is it a question of your pride? (i'm not trying to be difficult or mean, i totally understand where you're coming from...just trying to understand what you hope to accomplish by finding out the answer to your question...does that make sense?)
it might be adultery, from a legal standpoint (and i'm sure it feels like it, too)...are you only having issues with this because you want her back? or because you want her to suffer, too?
again, not trying to say anything bad about you or your situation, just giving you something to think about (like you needed more, right? :P)

my advice to you is to try to move on with your life instead of letting her run it. and she still is if you are still putting your thoughts and energy into her.

To be honest, I guess I'm just jealous. This woman was my life, high school sweetheart, and now she just up and left. We have a 5 year old girl, and I am afraid what is going to happen when it comes time for child decisions. I want my daughter more than anything in this world, and if my stbxw actions now (adultery?) can work against her, than thats what I have.
