Hurting is hurting and you are! Keep trying for your son's sake! He needs at least one parent to be consistent and stable! Do you have single parent support groups where you are?? If not..... try starting one! Just keep busy!! Your ex sounds really irresponsible and isn't likely to change! Your son sees and knows more than you think! You're doing great being straight with him! Just keep all the madness his dad causes as calm as possible! If you keep a stable home.... your son will know the difference!
