Re:Ode to the nice guys Dino: Everyone I know says I am a nice guy. Most of the people I know think I am one of the nicest, if not The nicest, guy they know. My ex was a b*tch. I mean I loved her fully but just about everyone I knew thought she was not a nice person. And they used to tell me that before my breakup. Most of them told me that for years and finaly stopped out of respect for my choice. They all wondered how we got along. I think it was because I was nice and she walked all over me. Maybe thats why she booted me. She didn't like the spine I grew over the last year.
But this is one nice guy that is going to go for a nice girl.
Re:Ode to the nice guys Spectrum: I would have to second the fact that most women who are/were attracted to a$$holes need to be thoroughly burned before being able to appreciate a really nice guy.
Of course, the problem is that we spend all of our time searching for the elusive "independent" guy who has all the attractive qualities a$$holes possess but still has all the nice qualities of the nice guy.
I have lucked out and found one of the nice guys who doesn't have any of the common "nice guy" detractors: clinginess, desperation, etc.
