No, I don't think so...we see each other quite frequently, as we still have the house together (we're selling), and we are friendly -- we even hang out very occasionally together -- and I do let him visit the pets (I got "custody.") We're both way happier now that we've separated anyhow, so I don't see this as an attempt to get close. ("hey, tara, wanna go for coffee Saturday morning and go over the paperwork?" would have been a far less painful way of seeing me...)
His GF is apparently working 1-9 tonight, is new at her job so can't leave or make phone calls, has no car anyhow (she walks to work) blah blah blah. There's no family for either of them in the area. He called me because it was easier than thinking about it.
