Re:Attitude-- what do ya'll think? CoryL: We all have good days and bad days. We need days where we feel bitter and angry. It is part of the healing process. You learn to control your attitude though.
I started a little ritual every morning when I would get out of the shower and look in the mirror. I'd look myself in the eyes and say aloud, "I'm great today because I want to be great." I've held my head high, even on the tough days because I know better days are on the horizon and I want to see them coming.
Trying to have a good attitude has made a world of difference in both how I feel and how quickly I have been able to deal with this life altering change. It won't be easy, but making an attempt to have a good attitude is a start. Keeping getting back up every time you get knocked down.
Keep your head up.
