Re:What to do with jewelry from ex? CoryL: I took my STBX's engagement ring back since it was my grandmother's. I'll probably hold on to it and save the diamonds for use in a ring for my children (when I have some). I told her she could keep the wedding band and do with it what she wanted.
I kept and wear my wedding ring on my right ring finger now. It was my grandfather's wedding ring. I use it as a reminder that even though my marriage is about to be over, a great marriage will be in my future. It helps me want to move on.

Shanna: OMG my stbxh gave me one of those past present future rings SIX months before he cheated and we split up.....I was thinking I could have a set of nice diamond earrings made from two of those diamonds....and I dunno about the third one....maybe a necklace ; ) I am saving them all until I can afford to make something nice with them...I won't wear them bc their meaning is broken.
