Between your letter and CP's..... I'm feeling like I'm ready! As I said with CP...... I hope you don't mind if I borrow a line or two! I'm usually really good with words.... but damn this is intense !
I keep imagining dad's response when I should just be honest and send it off!
There I go again...... when I post.... I always seem to find the answer in my own words! ;D
Ok...... I'm half way through my letter! I am going to finish it tonight and send it off! It may be the most freeing thing I've done in a long time!

i've sent it last night---and have gotten a phone call right away--and this email from a really good friend---it brought tears for me......here it is:
I respect you and love you. You are incredibly strong!! Your
heart is
enormous and although it is a bit beat up right now, it will
come back full
force and flourish like never before. I know writing this note
was
difficult, but it is what you needed and wanted to do at this
point.
Reaching out to your friends and family is key in getting
through all of
this!
I hope that if I ever have to go through anything as personally
challenging
as what you've been going through I will do it with as much
strength, grace
& humor as you. I hope that I have been a positive support for
you. Of
course, I always wish that I could do more, listen better, be
there more
often, yada-yada.
Although I am saddened by the circumstances that brought us
closer again, I
am grateful we've been able to re-connect so intimately. I will
always be
there for you -- regardless of however crazy my life seems!!
