Yes yes yes. I am so jealous, you're wife wants to give it a try. Of course she can't guarantee an outcome, but by wanting to date she's saying that she thinks there is a chance of you having a future together.
I dream of such an opportunity. You've been given an opportunity to give it a go. Maybe it won't work, but at least you know that you're both giving it a chance.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I guess it would be hard, because it won't be like when you were dating for the first time. You won't be able to gradually reveal yourself to her, surprise her with things, of that kind of stuff, but if things go well, the stuff you learn while dating this time will be stuff that can sustain your relationship in the much longer term.
And if you do choose to try, please post here about how it's going! :)

I reckon the spineless wimp thing is more likely to happen if you beg & plead her to come back, or try to guilt her into returning, or behave miserably with her expecting things that she has made clear are not yet available or expect her to behave in a certain way _just_ because you are married. At least that's what I figure. You won't look spineless if you decide to stand up, take the opportunity that has been presented, put on your best face, and make an effort to get what you want in a positive way.
Hope this helps... in many ways I'm talking to myself when I say this stuff, because our situations are a little bit alike.

I am a problem solver (thats kinda what my job is) and I'm always looking for the best answer. I have to tell you though that the reason I said I couldnt date is that it was too hard. I would go out with her, have a good time and then wake up alone. It left me very confused and as you would say on the Rollercoaster. I will give it a try and let you guys know. Thanks!
