Re:Domestication in_search_of: That is exactly it, its the willies, I was plenty domestic with my ex, and then I was alone for quite some time, and now its weird to wake up next to someone, and go to sleep next to someone, and spend time with someone, who is not the person I said I DO to. Its not a bad feeling, in any way shape or form, just a weird feeling. Strange thing, is that I had a "friend" who I was on that level with, we spent tons of time doing domestic type stuff, but it was just different in some way.
Re:Domestication ChristyM: I've really thought about this and I think I'm actually avoiding being "domesticated" with someone. I'm finding as soon as I get to that point I end up breaking it off with them. I always give some lame excuse but I think they were just getting too close and it was weirding me out. I was married for 13 years and I even catch myself at work asking the sales guys "What did you need honey?" if I'm involved in something when they come into my office with a question. It's just so natural to me since I said it to my ex a gazillion times. To share some things with someone else seems wrong -- inevitable but still wrong. Almost like I'm betraying him. Hmm ... maybe it's time to go see my counselor again :)

Re:Domestication Beren: I must be weird. I'm rather looking forward to being "domesticated" with someone again! I guess we'll just have to wait and see how I feel when it's imminent instead of just an idle daydream.

There has to be two sides in order to debate, and I don't know where you're gonna find someone to argue that I'm *not* weird!
