Latest update ukchap: Hi everyone
Well I had the divorce papers served on her over 3 weeks ago ... I have not heard a thing from my W ... but then again I sort of expected that anyway ...
Life carries on and although the pain is still very much with me I try to live my life as best as I can ..
I sometimes wonder if I will ever speak or see her again,
could she ever look me in the eye and say sorry ...
Divorcing someone you love is a tough thing to do ...
but sometimes we all have to do something that we would rather avoid ...
If someone leaves you , cheats on you etc etc they don't deserve to be able to divorce you as well ...
I made my mind up that this was what i was going to do ... It hurts like hell but in the end I had to keep my self respect ..

I had felt this way too in the beginning. I then decided, he wants it? He can file, pay and take the time off to do it.
But, that's just me *smile*
I'm happy for you though that you stayed strong and true to yourself and took that step.
