Absent wife isn't jealous - wtf? Bocephus: Feel like she could care less about where and what I do. I tell her I go out Valentines day with 3 older woman, and she says "oh wow, fun" and the likes. Gee whiz. Make's me sad. Feel like she's trying to pawn me off. wtf is up with that.

I dont know your situation but my x tries to do that and I respond the same way. I dont feel the urge to sit and argue and compare nights or compare "new friends" it easier to be, not happy, but somwhere in the middle because I am not excited he gets to go out with someone else but than again what did I expect. Its a hard road.....and it my heart I know we are truly done and sitting there coming off jealous will only hurt me!

I didn't want any guilt. I didn't go out for the sake of making her jealous either, just needed to go out, needed some company, some new company. Just needed a disconnect from life.

joe, i know we have talked about this at length, but let me ask you this
do you want your wife to pity you, or do you want your wife to love you?
calling her, and getting upset, crying, telling her you hurt so bad and want her back will only make her PITY you.

Just go quiet. Don't offer information, don't call her. Maybe it's truly over, maybe it's not, but Jenni is right. She isn't going to come back out of pity but because she realizes she misses you.
And you can't make her feel like she misses you if all she feels like you're doing is just trying even harder to get her attention.
