simpathy and love. Next time he tells you he cares about you think about him and his girlfriend together.
It will give you the courage and strength to tell him to #@$%##%$!

He obviously doesn't care about you. If he did he would never even hint at getting back together knowing how he hurt you. A good man would admit his mistake then accept that he wasn't good enough for you.

That's just my idealistic opinion.
