Re:I want my life back!! clb: I agree divorce is to easy. When I married my husband it was for better or worse and I meant it. My husband said he meant it, but he didn't agree to losing his mind. He says that I made him so angry he felt crazy and that the only way out was to divorce me. I too want my life to go back to normal. Instead of getting better, I feel like I am getting worse at times and cry more now then I did a few weeks ago. Seems to be good one day then bad the next. Nothing will be normal again. But, I have hope that I will feel happy eventually.
Re:I want my life back!! CoryL: Divorce is NOT easy. Believe me. All of the paperwork, legal fees, meetings, etc. are a pain in the ass.
Getting married is TOO easy in my opinion. If you want to prevent divorce, make sure that the people getting married are really dedicating themselves to each other.
That said, we all want our old lives back at one point or another. We want that comfort, that contentment. We fear having to start the process all over with someone else. Then we fear that the new person will leave us too. But time will heal you if you are honest with yourself about wanting to.
This is not an easy process, by any means. The sooner you start it, the better off you will be. Work in your head and your heart. TALK to anyone willing to listen. Write down your feelings and thoughts. Find something good in every day. Smile at people.
Most importantly, keep your head up.
