Re:The Faithful teacherwriterguy: The most powerful part of this one is the conflict of images - the joining of holy and unholy, pure and sin. I imagine that's not uncommon to those of us going through divorce - I think there was a thread about it somewhere here recently. It's not just a relationship that ended but a vow that was broken and that has it's own weight.
I like the line about the "widow's mite" - assuming I got that right, I like the humility of the tiny offering.
