My Story rcmorrison: My story is short....We were friends for nearly 6 years.
We both got divorces in 2003 and started dating in that same year.
We both broke up towards the end of 2003 because it was too soon to make another life-long commitment and we had things to resolve before we could truly be together.
We met up again in Feb 2004 and rekindle our relationship.
We got married on August 6, 2004 in Chicago and we separated October 19, 2004 because of his younger son and his 2nd wife.
We're divorcing, yet I still love him with my heart. He filed for divorce and doesn't want to work it out.
I want another chance to be with my husband, but he first must control his younger son and his 2nd wife before I can come back, but that's not about to happen so I have started to let go and move on.
I pray that God makes him realize what he's losing...makes him realize what I sacrificed to be with him (a career, a home in Texas, and my own family), but I also pray that I will pull through this OK and reclaim some of what I gave up for love.

You will be ok - you will find strength you didn't know you had... sounds like you already are...
You let us know how the life reclaiming is going - it is a hard process, but I can tell you are well on your way!
