Re:The highs are so CoryL: It isn't easy, even in theory.

Being difficult makes it rewarding.
Re:The highs are so paul76: I agree with Cory........

You never truely appreciate your destination if the journey there was insignificant.

Re:The highs are so kimura321: I can definately smaell what you are cooking. At just got done with another one of those "lows". I keep on thinking after I hit one and get over it, that will be the last one- but no, another one come along.
The only comfort I can bring is that it gets a little bit more manageable each time.
In japan they have a word called "kaizen" which means gradual improvement over time. I guess in society today we are moving so fast that we want to get over this crap and move on, but in this case, I think the kaizen principle is the only way to go. Maybe kinda like the sermon about the man trying to bury the goat in a ditch, but every shovelful of dirt he shovels on the goat, the goat shakes it off. Gradually the hole gets filled, but since the goat had shaken all the dirt off, he was standing on top of it, out of the hole.
I know I have a whole lot more dirt to shake off that will be shoveled down on me, but in time, one day, I think we will be out of that hole.
Re:The highs are so paul76: You named your dog after a restaurant? Thats a new one...what like White Castle or something. LOL

Dogs are pretty resiliant, it may take a while, but she will learn her new name with time.
Re:The highs are so A002702: I guess alot of us felt the same way yesterday. Sundays are hard.
