Well, this one is a deal breaker.
The healthiest relationships are those in which two people can completely be apart from each other, and do not NEED to be together; they choose to be together because it enhances their life, and they want to help take care of each other in loving ways.
Obviously, your husband NEEDS you for his own narcisstic tendencies, and that is not healthy. You deserve to be healthy and happy. Remember, that in the classic marital vows, it is stated, "To love, honor, and cherish, to care for, etc."... He is not holding up his end of the bargain.
Best of luck to you.... everyday gets better, and you can walk away from this, knowing that you did everything you could, and tried the best you could (the same cannot be said for him).
