Watched a few movies over the weekend... sirhc96: First I watched Minority Report. Anyone seen that? In the beginning they stop a husband from killing his cheating wife and the OM. I was thinking why? They would get what they deserved. Then next I watched Sleeping With The Enemy. In that movie the husband got what he deserved in the end. The movies just made me think of the people that have been cheated on or abused that are on here. The beginning of Minority Report pissed me off and Sleeping with the Enemy made me sad. I dont know, if only real life could be so easy as killing the OM or the abusive husband.

LostTeacher: i have been trying to watch movies that don't deal so much with love and cheating and stuff, and that has been working for me. am planning on watching "shark tales" sometime this week. also went to see "constantine", but it was not very good (got free tickets to the premiere, so not going to complain too much). also saw "napoline dinamite", and man, for a nobrainer movie, was pretty funny. any other good movie suggestions???

Go see "Million Dollar Baby".
Can't promise you'll be uplifted and happy when you walk out, but you definitely will be gripped by characters and you definitely won't be thinking about divorce/marriage/etc...

LostTeacher: the special effects were great, but the story line sucked. was a little over the top. not a terrible story, but people i was with said it was the worst movie they had ever seen. i didn't think it was that bad, but definately not one of the best. and it's not super scary, but there are a few parts that are loud and fast, and made me jump out of my seat a few times. but not a long movie.
and i heard that million dollar baby was extremely sad, not exactly the kind of movie i am looking for. i guess i am looking for upbeat, funny, non-thinking kind of movies.
