Question..........help justme15: can someone get a divorce without the other signing the papers?

Re:Question..........help tyrogers: In Alabama, yes you can. If the other person refuses to sign the papers that is. You can have them served via publication (local newspaper) or you can simply request the Judge to award the divorce after approximately 60 days and repeated attempts to serve that person and get them to sign. Hope that helps some.
