Re:You think we have it bad? (Warning: might make you cry) Sad Eyes: Bug~ (Sorry! ;))
Yikes!!! I am crying again now! Why can't we all find a love like that! I am really worried about them and what about their daughter when the mother passes on. Do they have other family? I ask that because as you probably know...when couples are together that long and love like that..usually when one goes...the other isn't too far behind.
Thanks for sharing that story even though the ending was really sad! I wish the best for them. I hope they will be alright.

Re:You think we have it bad? (Warning: might make you cry) AloneandCold: Ok I will look into the pay pal. I know a pastor who I bet I could get to give them the money. People tend to accept money from pastors easier for some reason. As for the resources I would love some info that I could pass on. I will have to think of a way to be delicate about it but anything helps. I think I am going to offer to run for groceries every week too. The daughter walks the mile to Albertsons and carries the stuff home. Not a big deal if it was me but she isn't 25. I know Albertsons delivers too, I wonder how much that costs and if they would waive it for them... Something I need to look into. In answer to your question SE they have two more children, another daughter who had a falling out with her mother years ago and has not talked to her since. She even refused to help after their father’s death. The other child is a son; I met him when he came to help his mother take care of things. He lives in Panama and I am not sure if he would take the sister or not. I worry mostly because if the mother fell sick the daughter would have no idea how to take care of her. Our landlord is actually pretty cool in the regard that he comes by every week and checks on them and stays for a few hours and makes sure they are ok. I better go do my research on pay pal. I will let you guys know.
Re:You think we have it bad? (Warning: might make you cry) gumby55555: Wow, that's really nice of you to do all that for them, Bug!!! Btw, if you do get the PayPal account setup, please do let me know because I would like to contribute what little I can. All the best to them and kudos to you for caring about them and taking the extra step of helping them!
