Okay, Beren ... I answered you earlier then lost the post!
I do believe that the reason is mostly #1, maybe a little bit of #2, but not #3 (unless I am in total denial).
I recently took an online IQ test for fun (friends all did it and sent it to eachother) and scored 144. Not sure how accurate those tests are ... however ...
I think that although I am intelligent, I am extremely stupid when it comes to relationships. I make the dumbest mistakes!
That said, I am fairly certain I am NEVER getting married again. My friends don't understand how I can feel that way and always say, "But, one day you are going to meet your soulmate". Whatever. Honestly - marriage is such a tangled web and while I would love to have a SO and possibly live together, marriage just isn't in the cards for me again.
This is interesting.
