3/2/2005 is my D-Day...It's Officially Over CoryL: Well, as of yesterday, March 2, 2005, I am no longer a married man.
And I couldn't be better! Closure is great! I feel wonderful. No pain, no saddness, no anger. I feel relief. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Most importantly, I am full of hope. Since my wife cheated on me in October, I have gone through the phases. I have picked myself up, dusted myself off, and become a better person. I'm getting back in shape, I started going to church again, and I am closer to my family and friends. I am happy with my life!
So for everyone struggling, the good will come again. You have to hit the bottom. You have to realize you are there. Then you have to climb. Do whatever you can to get up. Find new hobbies. Volunteer somewhere. Help other people get through their divorces. Listen. Learn. Most importantly, be you, not what everyone else expects you to be.

You know I have already told you this but I am going to say it again....I am so happy for you! Everything that is happening to you and how you are pulling through one of the hardest and most difficult times in you life. The way you are making it through says alot about you. Can you bottle up some of your positive energy and send it to Minnesota? I am serious!!! Can you at least give it a shot! ;) But seriously here, just reading what you have to say does it for me. You give me hope and I thank you for that!
