Re:I am so not easy Dino: its a fair bit different. meeting in a bar you are face to face and you can pick up vibes. like whether they are a potential psycho killer type. you can also see if they have friends and are sociable or the loner by themselves trying to score.
meeting for a drink seems ok though. although driving an hour is a bit much. if it was 10mins then it might be more doable.

Re:I am so not easy paul76: ....and that is why I have completely removed myself from the online meat market. I mean, after eharmony said I was incompatible, that just summed it up. I am compatible with someone, just not anyone on that site....and I dont know if that is such a bad thing.
I too am desperate for some form of companionship other than what little I have at work. I havent had the slightest amount of emotional/physical contact with another person in so long, I wonder if I would even be able to handle it. I guess I am just getting used to my life as a recluse.
****It should be a good ego boost for you to know that someone tens years younger than you finds you attractive. :)

It really helps to get the opinion of you guys, I just felt after that whirlwind chat session with him that all was hopeless. I get it now, all the good ones are home too, and not meeting older women for drinks..... :-*

I would also like to meet someone to spend some time with, and to get me out of the house, I still love my husband very much, but I can't sit around here thinking about him 24-7, it is driving me nuts!!!!!! Anyway, is any one going to measure up to him? After all when I look at him I still think he is such a babe!! Damn! Why, Why, Why!!!!!!!!! This isn't where we are supposed to be at this point in our lives!!! ::)
