Re:a package Shanna: I hope it is a box full of money ;D
I am just as clueless as you....sounds like she is up to something....but I don't know enough to tell.
Re:a package ambergem: I think telling you its coming is to make sure you don't rip it to shreds before seeing what it is. The subtext of the earlier conversation reads that she's treading in some kind of uncertainty about your feelings and possible reactions and she's probing a bit or perhaps had assumed that you felt one way and it seems to be another?
It does sound like she's feeling a little nostalgic. Or maybe she found something she thinks should be with you? Perhaps this package is a way of her getting closure? Or resolving to herself what level of contact she is comfortable with now.
Re:a package teacherwriterguy: Hrm - chew on this one.
Package came. Two packages of Archway sugar cookies - which I can explain. Those do have some personal history for me - those were always my favorite cookies but they stopped selling them in stores where I'm at a few years back.
No note or card. Just a box with two packages of sugar cookies.
Just thought I'd continue to fuel the mystery.

Re:a package twetifb: twg~ She proabably just saw them and thought about you...nothing more, nothing less. I think it's nice though that she actually sent them. I don't think I'd have the courage to do that.
Re:a package riversandlakes:
ok, guys, did we just read too much into a parcel?! So she sent you your favourite cookies...
imho, let her do these things, if you can accept it, because you seem to be healing well. Stay cordial, stay courteous, if she wants to take "whatever" to the next level, we being adults, she knows what to do...
