corned beef and cabbage browngreen: Yum.
I made some, as well as a ham and potato hot dish a lot like an au gratin, but with swiss and green onions and dill.
I am writing about it here becasue it's only hours before supper time, and I was just bombarded with a bunch of early celebrators in green who giggled to much.
HOw will you be spending the holiday?
Does anyone know of another irish dish besides corned beef and cabbage?

Re:corned beef and cabbage jason: My Irish grandmothers' favourite dish ! I dunno just exactly what all is in it, but the main ingredient is blood, and it is black as the ace of spades. When it was butchering time on our farm, I remember having grandma holler out to save her some blood. Yes, I have had it....salty, and not as revolting as it sounds.
