right next to him?! man...
ok, focus on work. only on work - and ojar. ignore him, if you wish to, for he is obviously doing that to you.
focus on work...
Re:was he always a jerk??? JustDumped: haha- ya'll are great!
fortunately, in a couple of weeks we are changing buildings, and i will be far away from him. THANK GOODNESS!
did i mention that one of the first projects he worked on was one that he took from me, (i gave it to him, i'm way too nice) and it turned out to be the biggest project of all, re- branding the entire company??? that was one of the things that bothered me the most, was that all the work he was doing were things that i was supposed to be doing! so even though we're changing buildings it still doesnt change the fact that he will always have one leg up on me.
thanks so much for ya'lls help- i love this site! and im sorry DOK about the lady with the guy half her age... sometimes people will do whatever it takes just to hurt someone. people can be so cruel!! why is that? especially to the ones the "loved" the most.
and youre right, hes not very much of a man. he takes a job from his girlfriend and then moves out on her because "he's unhappy". funny how i was unhappy but i kept my mouth shut for months! i just hope all the other girls at work can see through his BS... :P
Re:was he always a jerk??? Lonelyi in PA: Is there something you like to do a lot? A good place to start would be the local paper to see if there are clubs or groups for your interests. A local college of mine has Saturday and evening courses for adults.. things like aerobics, dance, art, how to on your pc, etc. Also every thursday there is a weekend paper that lists upcoming events and club group activities like hiking.
And glad to hear you won't have to work in the space next to him for much longer. Until then can you talk to your HR person and see if you can move until the new building is ready? Most cases they would be agreeable to switching your cube because of your situation.
