Friends twetifb: This morning on my way to work I received a text message from my best friend…“I miss you, I love you, see you tonight!” When I got to work I emailed my other best friend my itinerary for my upcoming vacation. Her response was… “You’ll have a great time because you deserve it. Remember that I love you…can’t wait to see you tonight!” So here I am sitting at my desk with a huge smile on my face thinking about how wonderful our friendship is and has been for the last fourteen years. What a wonderful way to start a day!!!

It must be tough without having her here. Even though I only get to see them once a week, I don't know what I'd do if they weren't just a short drive away.

Re:Friends Shanna: WE get to email and AIM and send little packages. She will be here to visit some this summer (we hope). I know it kills her that she couldn't be here for me going thru all of this. In a way I am glad she wasn't bc I wouldn't want my best friend to see me thru all the pain I went thru .....I don't want her to remember all the tears he caused. It might scare her into never trusting a man enough to love like I did (naive love).
She is getting to have the experience of a lifetime....teaching English in Japan....I mean how many people do you know that get to have their dreams come true like that.

I completely understand what you mean...I am so worried that my marriage, and soon divorce, is going to scare my friends into never trusting love. Neither have been in a serious relationship for the past 3 years because they have seen what it's done to me both on a daily basis and in the long run. It hurts me that I've shared as much as I have with them but they would have seen the sadness and pain in my eyes even if I never told them a thing.
