Do you ever feel the joke is on you? That God (or whatever you believe in) is out there just laughing at you?

I am just pretty enough not to be ugly
Just smart enough not to be dumb
I have enough social skills to make acquaintances but not enough to make real friends
I can find good in almost anyone, but never in myself
I was born to parents who couldn't love their children
Then married a man who couldn't really love his wife.
I have had two wonderful things in my life and they will both grow up before long and it will just be me again
Some days I just feel the joke is on me.
