Have a nice life Frideon: *gone*
Re:Internet Porn!! tyrogers: LOL! You did make me look!
No, internet porn had no effect on my last marriage. My views are "to each his own". I don't think porn in general is bad unless it is something that someone has become addicted to. Internet porn has an effect on the self esteem of women about as much as the women on the cover of everyday magazines do. Young girls see the cover of Seventeen way before they even have a chance to see internet porn.
Just my thoughts........

Re:Internet Porn!! i_sing_alone: I think ALL porn had an effect on my relationship. He actually confessed the other night to first having sex at age 7, and the OW (totally platonic, of course) told me that he once confessed to calling in sick to work to.. um.. ya know... at least 13 times/day. Addiction? I'd say so.
What hurts is the fact that some men get so sucked into (sorry, funny play on words- :P) this that they actually believe women SHOULD act like their own personal pornstars 24/7.
That's all. Rough topic for me right now :(
Re:Internet Porn!! AmyMarie1972: I have to admit that the title of the thread is why I clicked onto it but no internet porn did not have any effects on my marriage. Self esteem of women I dont think is really affected. I mean have you seen some of those women!!!!!!! :D
Re:Internet Porn!! teacherwriterguy: I think it's like many other things - the key is how the couple approaches it?
If it's one partner finding gratification in something and shutting the other partner out.. yeah I can see it opening the doors to a lot of trouble.
Or if it's one partner using it to try to pretend that the other partner is different or trying to force the other partner to be different.
Couples need to grow, change, and experiment together - neither partner can leave the other one behind.
That having been said - as far as I know it didn't have an effect on the ending of my marriage or either party's self-esteem.
