My ex makes comments to me like I am some serious sl*tbag who is running around with everyone who has some manhood between his legs. Of course, I KNOW it is his guilt making him say those mean things so I just say "whatever" in the lightest, sweetest tone I can. Then he tries to pick a fight and I just say "whatever honey". THAT REALLY pisses him off!!! It's just because he is trying to make himself feel better and to try to write off the wrong that he did and the fact that he lost the best, hottest, sexiest (you get my drift) thing he could have ever gotten!!!!!!! LMAO ;D

My observation is that the leavers, regardless of gender, are always looking for more reasons to justify themselves and blame the leavees. My ex, for example, had no qualms about reading my posts on DivorceBusting.com, nor about using it against me. She was really nice and sneaky about it. I didn't really even care that she read it, but she tried to pretend she hadn't.
I think once I realized that she was looking for any and every reason she could to fault me, the whole thing became easier. I just stopped trying. The nightmarish image of suddenly finding myself to be the object of her hatred, however, remains. :(
