Re:My sad story Lilsara: Isotope,
I'll warn you that I've just joined and may not know what I'm talking about but I'm trying! I've had a similar experience where I waited and cared faithfully while my boyfriend (and first love) fulfilled his military duty in Iraq on and off for 2.5 years. It sucks that after be patient and selfless for so long you don't get the outcome you were promised. But just know that you are a good person and gave 110% of yourself that's all you could do. It's ok to feel betrayed, angry, sad, sorry, etc. And I know this sounds cliche but even though you may not know the reason for what's happening now, one day you will.
And PS I heard that 40 is the new 30 so really you are 20!!!! I know we will love again and we will find men that aren't so selfish. And just think if it is so easy to love a dumb guy that will let you go, think of how wonderful it will be to love a smart man that can't let you go!!!!

All my best,
Sara
