Re:Should I apply for a divorce? tyrogers: I agree. Do what is best for you. Hanging on is SO not worth it. Make the first move. Then you can see how HE reacts.....might help you a bit with your final decision. ???

Happy thoughts coming your way........

Re:Should I apply for a divorce? pauly: I think cizzler makes a good point. If he declared there is no going back then...surely.
He could be using you as a fall back

Re:Should I apply for a divorce? AmyMarie1972: That is the difficult part though, I mean yes I want to get on with my life but taking the decision to go for the divorce is so final, but then we lived together for 7 years not being married so being married isn't the most important part of a relationship is it.
At least if I am the one to make that decision then at least it will let him know that I don't need him. Even if I want him he doesn't need to know that.
I think I have just convinced myself. I am applying for a divorce. I am going to break the ties.
Re:Should I apply for a divorce? tyrogers: It is amazing what being served with papers will do to some people. You might be able to work it out....you might not.....but at least you will know for sure. If you need to talk or anything just let me know!

Re:Should I apply for a divorce? pauly: my advice would be to let him initiate the divorce.don't let it affect you and carry on regardless.
at this stage there is no rush,at least that was the advice i was given from lawyers,2,3,4 months after being separated.
