When I left my X I went through the same emotions you are going through. I felt like my kids were deprived of their father. Well...turns out, they'd been deprived of a mother too because I had to work so hard to do everything that needed doing, I didn't have time to play with them. I missed a lot of their youngest years because of that louse!
If your X was a candidate for "Father of the Year" then he'd still be right there with you. Obviously, he's losing out and he will regret it later - guaranteed!
Hang in there sweetie! You're gonna make it and be better for it! Promise!!

I am soooo sorry.
Your little daughter will someday realize the extra work and effort and love you put in to raise her. And it will be worth it all.
Maybe someday your ex will also realize what little time and effort he put in and will have to live with that the rest of his life.
